Bertram's Bed
This bed has a definite Arts and Crafts feel with a bit of Arts and Crafts styling thrown in for fun. Although often considered opposing styles, common
details of each meld well as reflected in this bed. The bed is made of solid cherry with wonderfully figured "hot mottled" makore veneered panels accented
with a holly-outlined redwood burl diamond and cocobolo and ebony leg details. This piece, along with a complementary Room Screen was exhibited at
the 2003 Philadelphia Furniture and Furnishings Show where I was selected Best New Artist - Wood Media.
