Cherry - Makore with Quilted Imbuya Console Table
The top is made of mottled makore with serpentine edges of quilted imbuya. The base has many subtle accents and is made of cherry with the macassar
ebony/holly curved feet and a complementary ebony drawer pull and cockbead along the apron. Although the top front and back lines seem to run straight
across the piece, they are actually soft arcs which complement the serpentine sides. A few subtle construction aspects of the piece highlight the care of a
custom made piece of furniture; a hand cut dovetail drawer, a single piece front apron with a pronounced grain pattern running across the drawer, and
book matched side aprons. (41Wx16Dx29.5H).
