Quilt/Blanket Stands
I've always liked quilts with bold, vibrant colors with a more contemporary feel and noticed so many of the quilt stands available seemed to have "country
bumpkin" styling! I decided I wanted to make a quilt stand that worked well with contemporary "color study" quilts as well as more stylish traditional
quilts - this is the result. The styling is heavily Arts and Crafts influenced with the wedge tenons, and the tinge of exotic woods is all me! I have build this
stand in a wide variety of hardwoods and use naturally colorful exotics (no paint, stains or dyes used)  to produce a quilt stand that artistically
complements your treasured quilts. The finish is a hand rubbed oil/varnish mix which is VERY smooth so your quilt is truly pampered.
I make a longer one (46") designed for the foot of a bed and a shorter one (34") that looks nice against a wall. The wedge tenons offer a nice stylistic and
colorful aesthetic detail while actually being functional, allowing this piece to breakdown into 4 parts and ship easily via UPS.
